The Portofino hat is an iconic and essential piece from Lastelier.

It is a flexible hat that can be folded into a bag or suitcase for travel. It is certified with a UPF40 sun protection rating, blocking over 97.5% of UV rays.
The base of the Portofino hat is a soft brown, the perfect color to complement all skin tones. It is made with a straw braid in two different colors: brown for the base and a colorful one for the Yellow ribbon. The Yellow ribbon is integrated into the hat, so it will not move, unlike fabric ribbons that can crease or get damaged.

The Portofino hat also features Lastelier's patented signature interior:
- A black interior to prevent makeup or cream from staining the hat
- A comfortable and slightly tightened internal elastic to ensure the hat stays securely on the head, even in windy conditions
- And finally, a patented internal pocket where you can store a credit card, hotel key card, or money
It is available in 26 straw ribbon colors to match any occasion.

Storage & Maintenance

Storage:

Before storing your Yellow Portofino, you must ensure that the hat is very clean and dry. If it has a little dust, a light brushing with a soft brush or lint roller will work just fine. Store your Portofino Yellow away from direct light, in a place specific to it and where it will not be exposed to dust, crushed or deformed such as in a hat box, a storage box, on a shelf, on a hat stand…

To store it, several options are available to you:

  • You can lay it flat with shell padding
  • You can put it upside down, that is to say on the cap, taking care that the edges do not touch any surface
  • You can hang it as a decoration on a wall or put it on a coat rack, taking care to turn it from time to time

Interview :

Gently brushing your White Portofino hat, once a month, will preserve it well. To do this, simply use a soft brush, lint roller or even a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust, dirt and hair from your hat.

Size guide

The Yellow Portofino hat is available in the following sizes:

  • Small (55-56 cm)
  • Medium (57-58cm)
  • Large (59-60 cm)

If you do not know your size please follow the following steps:

  1. Take a measuring tape, or failing that, a string that you will measure later
  2. Place it approximately 1 cm above the ears and eyebrows, loosely and you will have your measurement
  3. The measurement falls between 2 sizes? Opt for the next size

If you wish to adjust or reduce the size of your hat, we provide comfortable foam hat reducers on our site that allow you to reduce by up to one size. WARNING no return or exchange will be made if the reducers are stuck on the cap.
