The Portofino hat is an iconic and essential Lastelier piece.

It is a flexible hat that can be folded into a bag or suitcase for transport. It is certified with a UPF40 sun protection rating, blocking over 97.5% of UV rays.
The base of the Portofino hat is a soft brown, the perfect color to complement all skin tones. It is made with a two-tone straw braid: brown for the base and a colored braid for the brown ribbon. Since the brown ribbon is integrated into the hat, it will not move, unlike fabric ribbons that can crease or get damaged.

The Portofino hat also features Lastelier's patented signature interior:
- A black interior to prevent staining the hat with makeup or cream
- A comfortable and slightly tensioned inner elastic band to keep the hat securely on the head, even in windy conditions
- And finally, a patented inner pocket where you can store a credit card, hotel key card, or money
It is available in 26 straw ribbon colors, making it suitable for any occasion.

Storage & Maintenance

Storage:

Before storing your Brown Portofino, you must ensure that the hat is very clean and dry. If it has a little dust, a light brushing with a soft brush or lint roller will work just fine. Store your Portofino Brown away from direct light, in a place specific to it and where it will not be exposed to dust, crushed or deformed such as in a hat box, a storage box, on a shelf, on a hat stand…

To store it, several options are available to you:

You can lay it flat with shell padding
You can put it upside down, that is to say on the cap, taking care that the edges do not touch any surface
You can hang it as a decoration on a wall or put it on a coat rack, taking care to turn it from time to time

Maintain:

Gently brushing your Brown Portofino hat, once a month, will preserve it well. To do this, simply use a soft brush, lint roller or even a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust, dirt and hair from your hat.
