Storage & Maintenance

Storage:

Before storing your Gstaad, make sure the hat is clean and dry. If it has a little dust, a light brushing with a soft brush or a lint roller will do the trick. Store your Portofino Or away from direct light, in its own dedicated space where it won't be exposed to dust, crushed, or deformed, such as in a hatbox, a storage box, on a shelf, on a hat stand, etc.

Several options are available for storage:

  • You can lay it flat with the crown padded.
  • You can place it upside down, meaning on its crown, being careful that the brim does not touch any surface.
  • You can hang it as a decoration on a wall or place it on a coat rack, making sure to turn it occasionally.

Care:

Gently brushing your Portofino Or hat once a month will help preserve it. To do this, simply use a soft brush, a lint roller, or even a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust, dirt, and hair from your hat.

Our Gstaad wide-brimmed hat is available in the following sizes:

  • S (55-56 cm)
  • M (57-58 cm)
  • L (59-60 cm)

If you don't know your size, please follow these steps:

  1. Use a measuring tape, or failing that, a piece of string that you will measure afterward.
  2. Place it about 1 cm above your ears and eyebrows, without tightening.
  3. If the measurement falls between 2 sizes? Choose the larger size.
